Motor Vehicle Technician

David Stokes Motors have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified motor technician, to join our busy and expanding team.

David stokes motors is a family run company that has been in business for 9+ years. Located in Santry, we have a busy workshop and are looking for someone who is enthusiastic to broaden their car knowledge and isn’t afraid of a challenge.

This job entails working in a very busy workshop, so experience is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of vehicle servicing, diagnostics and be capable of producing quality work in a busy fast paced environment.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To service & repair vehicles in accordance with manufacturers’ guidelines and dealership quality standards.
To make written and verbal reports on service and repair activity to the workshop controller.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS ROLE:
Should be currently working as a technician.
Used to working in an environment where quality, efficiency and productivity are important.
Timed served in a Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship or Modern Apprenticeship.
Technical qualification - City & Guilds Motor Vehicle Craft or Technician to minimum Part II, or NVQ Level 3, or National Certificate in Motor Vehicle Engineering.
