WHY SHOULD YOU SERVICE YOUR AIR CONDITIONER SYSTEM?
Air conditioner like many other parts of your vehicle requires systematic maintenance. Unclean air conditioner system is a breeding ground for bacteria and fungi which can be the cause of breathing and other respiratory problems. In your air conditioning system may occur refrigerant leaks which can reduce its efficiency. If left for a long time it can result in broken compressor pump. Keeping your system in good condition is important during all year round. When the weather is hot it helps you keep cool while driving but when the weather is rainy or cold you needn’t worry about fogging up windscreen.
Your air conditioner system is not something one should take lightly. Proper maintenance is more cost effective than repairs! At David Stokes Motors, we recommend you have your car air conditioner service every 12 months or 20 000 km.
David Stokes is F-Gas certified. Certificate ensures high quality and safe service and is required in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 842/2006/ by European Union law.
David Stokes Motors offers full air conditioning service using refrigerants R134a and R1234yf which are used in most vehicles. R134a is a common refrigerant has been used in motor industry for many years, however, R1234yf was created in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. They are similar but not the same and cannot be mixed. By European Union law all cars produced since 2017 have been used R1234yf mandatorily.

A. OZONE TREATMENT – for free
Ozone treatment is the best solution when you have problem with bad smell in your car. It helps remove the smell of musty, putrid smoke, gasoline, grease, odors from air fresheners and neutralize allergens contained in the pollen of flowering. Root of problem with bad smell can be bacteria and fungi which growth is a cause of air conditioner leaking. Remember that ozone treatment doesn’t solve problem with air conditioning.
